Gurnam Kaur, wife of Labh Singh, aged 45 Years had routinely come to attend a Medical Camp at Bhawanigarh with the complaint of breathlessness. After being checked by the Medical Specialist, she was screened for ECG in which it was found that she was suffering from an actual heart attack. She was put on oxygen and given life saving drugs in the Camp.
Her husband was called and explained the seriousness of the disease. She was later shifted to Patiala for further detailed investigations. Thus her life was saved by Umeed doctors who had diagnosed her ailment.
Om Parkash resident of Sangrur
Om Parkash resident of Sangrur had come to a Medical Camp. He was suffering from long standing headache and complained of general weakness. The patient was examined and the cause of his chronic headache was diagnosed as high Blood Pressure about which he had never bothered before.
All through these years Om Prakash was consuming pain killers such as Paracetamol, Analgin, Aspirin etc. The cause of general weakness was attributed to Diabetes which was also detected during the Camp held by Umeed at Sangrur. As of today, the patient is leading a normal life and is on regular treatment in the follow-up camps.
