With the conviction, that our essence lies in Rural India, Umeed takes honored responsibility in contributing to the Rural Development Projects.

Umeed is in the process of establishing a Dairy- cum-Compost-cum-Gas (Cooking) and Poly House Vegetable project for our Women Self Help Groups, as a part of Umeed's Women Empowerment Initiative. The project will entail a Dairy with a Digester cum Composting unit, for the purpose of extracting Methane, to be used as cooking gas. The residue will be processed into high quality organic fertilizer by vermi-composting to be used in poly house (to grow vegetables) Through the expertise of Umeed, the project will be in partnership of Umeed with the Self Help Group.
