Umeed continuously strives to generate employment for the rural and semi-urban educated youth of Sangrur. It is necessary to create employment opportunities within villages as it helps curb migration and reduces undue pressure on the infrastructure of a city.

Taking a cue from the growing employment opportunity in the Rural BPO space, Umeed has set Umeed Rural BPO. This has been developed under the aegis of 'Umeed Social & Economic Development'.

Umeed Rural BPO is being set up with one mission in mind, that is, to provide necessary employment to the educated youth of Sangrur, within Sangrur itself so that they can earn their livelihood.
